Pat dry steak, salt only after cooking to keep surface dry and allow crust formation. For 1.5” thick steak, start with cold non-stick pan and flip every 2 minutes on medium-high heat until at desired temp. Adjust time for thickness.

Finally, serve immediately and do not rest the steak.
