@becomingwisest @MostlyHarmless @mekkaokereke When you forget to use word boundaries in your regex :)

Did you mean "When you forget to use word boundaries in your regetwitter.com"?
@jbiserkov @becomingwisest @MostlyHarmless @mekkaokereke This joke is getting pretty Meta. I like it.
@afilina @becomingwisest @MostlyHarmless @mekkaokereke I agree. Except there's nothing pretty about Meta. It's one of the ugliest faces of surveillance capitalism. They should never have been allowed to buy Instagram, WhatsApp, and the many smaller companies.
@MostlyHarmless I presume this is already how it works

@MostlyHarmless #Alt4You: A cartoon from the New Yorker: Two techies sit facing each other at a table, both looking at monitors and typing on keyboards. One leans over to view the other past the monitors and asks, "Can you go through all the old pitch decks and replace the word ‘crypto’ with ‘A.I.’?" Cartoon is credited to Benjamin Schwartz.

If I provide an #AltText for you, it's 100% OK to edit your post to put the text in. And if you do, I will happily delete my reply. I'm not looking for credit; it's fine if you and I collaborate to make it look like your image had an alt text all the time. In fact, that's what I want! That's the best place for the text, not in a reply where people have to go hunting for it. So if you reply to my alt text with thanks, be ready to delete your own thanks after I delete my post. 😉 #etiquette #alt
