Yesterday, I asked my students what their idea of perfect happiness was. Today, I found mine: sitting down in the car park of a big box lumber store with cut wood, screws, glue to make a picture frame and the largest stretched canvas I’ve ever bought; plus the prospect of weeks of painting and a night on the town tonight.
