I've never understood why so many people unironically say dark themes are easy to look at. Maybe it's because of my astigmatism, but I find the vast majority of dark themes unbearable.

Bill Zaumen@phi1997 @ferricoxide @nixCraft If you wait N years, you'll see why some people prefer dark mode - where N is large enough that you'll start having cataract issues. BTW, some of the software I've written picks dark mode or light mode based on system settings, so it will hopefully do whatever the user wants automatically.
