Daring Fireball
@daringfireball wow! My form of protest against my employer involves me quitting in protest. Imagine how the other employees felt watching this play out? If this happened at my workplace I would go home out of concern for my safety.
@khurtwilliams @daringfireball Unless the safety concern was Google’s goons using firearms against the peaceful protest, I have no idea what you’re talking about. They weren’t threatening or hurting anybody by staging a sit-in. And to suggest otherwise is disingenuous at best.
@tubedogg @daringfireball Dude! I would not feel safe if my co-workers did this. I would call the police. Protests of any kind do not belong in the workplace. If you want to protest an employer's action quit and tell them why?
@khurtwilliams @tubedogg @daringfireball exactly. If they want to protest, then do it outside the office.
