Richard Todd, Herbert Lom and Anne Baxter in Chase a Crooked Shadow (1958). Baxter plays an heiress who finds herself travelling to unravel the mystery of Todd, a stranger who claims he is her dead brother. Unbelievably tense - I was literally on the edge of my seat - with Baxter especially riveting. We feel like we’re losing our marbles along with her. Do try and track this one down if you can.
