The Google One VPN service is heading to the Google graveyard

Google is shutting down its VPN by Google One service less than four years after it was rolled out in October 2020, because “people simply weren’t using it.”

@protonprivacy There is something GoogleVPN does that ProtonVPN does not. It could be configured to use a VPN connection all the time EXCEPT when on cellular data or whitelisted (e.g. home) wifi. Waiting (for years) for #ProtonVPN to support that very useful feature.
