As creepy as this movie was - and it has haunted me - I really feel like this should be an incredibly easy weapon to avoid.
That was the point though?
The point was that it’s not a dangerous weapon?
More that it’s such a strange one that normal people are too confused by the situation, or frightened by him, to just run away, so they stand there like cattle and get slaughtered.
