Guns are the leading cause of death for children in America.

If Republicans really cared about "protecting children" or the "sanctity of life," they wouldn't oppose Biden's effort to close the “gun show loophole” that allows firearms to be purchased without a background check.

@rbreich I am sure that should any child under the age of zero years old were a victim of gun violence, and its mother were to survive said assault, then any Republican prosecutor worth his salt would prosecute that mother to the full extent of the law.

Don't worry. Most of the same people with a hand in permitting this are trying to make sure communicable diseases (particularly preventable ones) make a strong return. Because vaccines are bad now, apparently.

but you’ve rather screwed the pooch on this one.

there is no “gun show loophole,” and the count of “children” killed by “gun violence” stretches children to include 19 year olds, most of whom have been killed due to gang violence.
