A Zoomposium interview with Prof. Dr. Godehard Brüntrup SJ, the renowned German philosopher and Jesuit priest, who since 2003 has held a professorship in philosophy at the Munich School of Philosophy, specializing in metaphysics, philosophy of mind and philosophy of language.

The interview can be seen as two-part in terms of its subject matter.

In the first part we ask Professor Brüntrup mainly about the possibilities of a New Metaphysics of Consciousness arising from his philosophical positions concerning liberal naturalism, process philosophy according to Alfred N. Whitehead and a panpsychism.

In the second part we deal with Professor Brüntrup's self-experienced near-death experiences, which we bring into a thematic context with his previously mentioned philosophical positions as a possibility of a New Metaphysics of Consciousness in the form of a neuroskepticism.
