@bcantrill @AndresFreundTec We started by ranting about the coverage in the New York Times… coverage that explicitly refused to dig into the details. It’s all the more shocking because the big story here is how Andres’ penchant for digging into the details is what saved us from what would have been a pervasive and damaging attack!

@ahl @bcantrill FWIW, I wasn't bothered by the description of postgres, I laughed when reading it. If it had been a hard news article, it might have been weird, but it's a column, which IMO makes the tone fine.

The misunderstanding about the xkcd comic was a bit odd, but...

And for the record, I was flying to my parents in Germany, not from my parents ;)

@ahl @bcantrill I don't think it was quite expected to end up on the front page...

I mentioned that I found it awkward to see memes about the thing, but that some modifications of the "nebraska" xkcd were kinda funny.
