@disappointed_idealist for the anxiety, I find mindfullness work and CBT to be most helpful (also exercise, but of course conquering that initial hurdle of anxiety to do the exercise is a whoooole thing)
Books I'd recommend: The Feeling Good Handbook, and Full Catastrophe Living.
