They accidentally bombed the humanitarian food aid workers. They accidentally bombed the humanitarian food aid workers three times.

@JuliusGoat They keep this kind of shit up, they may start reaping what they sow. The whole course of WWII may have been changed by a single accidental bombing.

During WWII, at first neither side bombed the other's cities fearing being bombed in return. Even Hitler had placed London off-limits to bombing, hoping to spare Berlin.

In 1940, the Luftwaffe was attempting to destroy British fighter airfields and radar stations. This was to clear the way for attacks to destroy UK bombers that could otherwise sink the ships carrying the planned invasion known as "Operation Sea Lion." Then one day, a German bomber crew got lost in the clouds. After a while they started to panic, dropped their bombs live and without knowing where they were, and flew home. When they landed the whole airfield was in an uproar: they were over London when they dumped their bombs, and Churchill was going NUTS.

What happened next blocked the planned invasion of Britain and may have played a major role in the outcome of the entire war. Churchill ordered a "pinprick" reprisal air strike on the Berlin nightclub area where top Nazi scum went to party. Lights out, searchlights on, AA guns firing, and bombs blasting that part of town. This was an "in your face" to Hitler. Goering's claim that "you can call me mud" if Berlin was ever bombed was now a joke. Hitler gave a furious speech-and ordered the Luftwaffe to stop bombing airfields and radar stations and instead bomb London and London suburbs. For all the damage done, this was a militarily useless target, and gave the Royal Air Force all the time they needed to recover. With the RAF intact, Operation Sea Lion(the invasion) was cancelled as impossible.

Thus, the UK held out and both their bombers and US bombers turned the tables, paying back the London Blitz with a far bigger blitz of their own. By the end of the war, most or all of Germany's cities looked like Gaza City today. Worst of all was Dresden, totally incinerated in a massive fire tornado that burned even the streets. Some said the last bombs of the war did nothing but "make the rubble jump" from previous bombings. The largest of the air raids involved 700+ planes dropping a mix of 2,000 pound bombs and firebombs and were as destructive as nuclear bombs minus the radiation.

All of this an upward spiral from one actual accidental/reckless bombing. It's possible none of that would have happened if a single German bomber crew had not accidently bombed London by panicking and dumping their bombs.

There is a lesson in all this for today: Netanyahu started the bombing war, but if the rest of the Middle East decides to finish it, Tel Aviv could share the fate of Gaza City. Note that after WWII, the leveling of much of Europe under US and UK bombs was considered by many to be a war crime, same as the London Blitz. The chance of anything being done about this was zero, as war crimes trials are normally held by the victor at the end of the war against the defeated power. Bomber Harris and Curtis Lemay were never at risk of sharing the fate of the top Nazi officials that were hanged in Nuremburg.

Can Israel win every war forever, even as genocide sours the rest of the world on sending them more oil, bullets, and bombs? Bomb not, lest thou be bombed
