Denmark:
- 6 x F-16 Block 10
- 13 x F-16 Block 15
Norway:
- 22 x F-16 Block 10/15
Netherlands:
- 24 x F-16 Block 10/15

Sir David Nielsen@hanse_mina why the US even gets a say in what we do with our military equipment is beyond me.
Jocke@DavidNielsen @hanse_mina Seems to be pretty standard procedure. Probably has to do with preventing advanced military tech getting into the wrong hands.
@lysol @hanse_mina again, that is not how ownership works. We bought those planes, we maintain them, they are parked in our nations, so we can do with them what we want.
America gets to shut up, we are doing what is right with our equipment and our money, because if Russia isn’t opposed, then they will be on our doorstep next.
@DavidNielsen @hanse_mina It is not how private ownership works, no. But this is not your everyday ownership. Sure, Denmark etc can in theory sell the planes to whomever they want – but the US might not sell them anything in the future if they break the agreement that the US has a say on who may buy them second hand.
@lysol @hanse_mina they might not for many reasons, even just because, which is why buying from EU vendors might well be a better option.
