Do you agree? #linux

@nixCraft I'm a Linux nerd and at lunchtime I helped my wife try to connect her Windows machine to our printer.

You need more than patience for Windows.

@pjohanneson @nixCraft I have OneDrive working perfectly on Linux (thanks to rclone and davfs). Completely integrated with the OS and (as long as the net connection is good) it just works. On Windows OneDrive is a f**king mess.
@bthalpin @nixCraft I'd like to hear about your OneDrive on Linux story. I've got it working but using a 3rd-party app.

@pjohanneson @nixCraft Yes, 3rd-party. rclone to connect, and davfs to make it work as a mounted directory.

rclone is great for all sorts of cloud storage.

Rclone

Rclone syncs your files to cloud storage: Google Drive, S3, Swift, Dropbox, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, Box and many more.

Rclone
@bthalpin @pjohanneson @nixCraft To be fair, even with rclone, it's a fscking mess. I mean it works, but it's a pain to setup and it's flaky. And I use it daily...
