@TonyStark Nobody listens, but I've been saying this for about two decades. Sometimes I shock people by saying "If you replaced a million randomly-selected legal American residents with a million undocumented immigrants, the US crime rate would go down."

@guyjantic @TonyStark Of course! Undocumented aliens do their best to avoid any and all attention, because that might get them deported. They live quietly, do jobs nobody else wants for way less money than is legal and put up with all sorts of abuse.

@Sunspot @TonyStark Most folks can't take anything that comes out of Trump's mouth seriously. And TBH as someone who lives on the border, I have seen the continuation of most of his policies under Biden. There is an outdoor "detention center" nearby that is provided for only by individual donations. Every blanket, every sandwich, every water bottle is provided by local community members while Border Patrol does what BP has always done. At the state of the Union Biden called immigrants "illegals"
