Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed in Memphis 56 years ago today.
He died while visiting the city in support of sanitation workers who were striking for better pay and safety measures.
Let's honor MLK's legacy by renewing our commitment to both racial and economic justice.
A reminder that folks are willing to commit murder to keep their low-wage workers and keep limits on their civil rights
