I noticed I now have a premium account on Twitter including a blue check. It seems this is a “reward” for having over 2,500 followers that pay for Twitter.

It’s annoying to see it so clearly pointed out that I’m generating value for this stupid website.

Tagging X Premium subscriptions to accounts with enough paying followers is re-applying the “verified” checkmark logo on some accounts that don’t pay for it.
