#WordWeavers Day 1 - MC POV: Write a Mastodon introduction post.

"Here I am! I'm doing the thing. Veda made me. Though, I'll probably be too busy saving the multiverse to toot much."

(Catching up) #WordWeavers Day 2 - What books/resources have you used to improve your writing? Which ones do you recommend?

Honestly...every story I've ever read or watched. I like to reread and rewatch things, too, to analyze plots, world-building, tropes, and character development. I recommend finding what works best for you and sticking to it.

#WordWeavers Day 3 - Antagonist POV: How do you feel about animals?

"They're delicious? I don't know. I have more important things to think about. Get out of my sight before I turn you into fish and let you suffocate on my throne room floor."

#WordWeavers Day 4 - Is there writing advice you used to follow but changed your mind?

"Write every day," and, "You should only focus on one project at a time."

To both of those, I say...NO. I am more than just a writer, and I need days off. Also, if I force myself to only focus on one project...I end up not writing anything at all when I get stuck on a part. Now, I just switch to something else until the inspo comes back.

@cyborg_writer Focusing on one project at a time clearly sounds like a thing that will only work for some people. Others need to switch their attention from project to project. It's so weird that there is advice like this out there. It's one thing to say "focusing on one project is what works for me" — I'm like that, too! I tried working on a few things at a time and ended up overwhelmed. But it's a completely different thing to say "this is how everyone should work". It doesn't make sense.
@AlinaLeonova Exactly! Everyone should just do what works for them.
