Mopsi Dick#LostMineOfPhandelver with kids again. They decided to get back to "Hyrule City" (Neverwinter) to ask Princess Zelda for help against the Black Spider occupying the Forge. A green dragon had attacked Phandelver, whom they suspected to be in league with the spider (ally of the Zhentarim agent really), they took poison victims with them, lost them in an Ogre attack. They got some troops and some intel on drow in the city, led their troops against the agent plus 20 followers in town. #ttrpg #pnpde
I improvised the mass fight rather clumsily (split troops in sub-groups, gave them collective HP, rolled morale quite often as soon as magic came into play), handwaved some stuff, but it ran ok overall. Created some nice unexpected outcomes.
