I LOVE my #InstantPot and I'm not particularly enamoured of deep-fried foods so I'd prefer not to use the counter space to replicate that texture. I use my IP at least every second day for so many kinds of food. Tomorrow will be yogurt making. I might cook my chicken in it tonight.

I never cooked beans until my Instant Pot.

My instant pot is also my air fryer. I barely ever use the air fryer function, but use the instant pot about 3 times a month. Fantastic for stocks, beans, rice, etc. Replaced a pressure cooker and crock pot. I'm a fan.

To be fair, it's a better crock pot than it is an air fryer - I would probably use the latter function more if the basket allowed more space for air frying.

To be honest the ergonomics of the IP user interface SUCK. And their choice of leaving hot metal panels exposed in the lid is really questionable. But the construction is top notch and you get a spare seal with each pot. Do have a look at other multi-cookers as well and compare them. But, electric pressure cookers are a great thing to have.

I have no opinion on the Insta-Pot itself, but consider if you have space for it in your kitchen ... both when it is in use, and when it is stored.
