I have used the internet of the ISP using wifi from a friend and after checking on ipleak.net [http://ipleak.net] it seems like it is working does being my own mobile data change the situation much . I am using tge wireguard protocol on a third party client rather than the official app of the vpn does wireguard protect against vpn blocks ? I have tried to find answers on reddit, ddg etc. but i think my question is too specific to get an answer or idk how to use search engine.

take a look at VPN services that offer obfuscation such as V2Ray or obfs4, so even if an ISP blocks your usage, you can use the obfuscation to bypass it. i think Mullvad offers this but not sure.
