I have an ISP i want to switch to for better cellular data as i am at a different state and my current ISP kinda suck here, the thing is i am not sure if they block vpn's or not . - Lemmy Today

I have used the internet of the ISP using wifi from a friend and after checking on ipleak.net [http://ipleak.net] it seems like it is working does being my own mobile data change the situation much . I am using tge wireguard protocol on a third party client rather than the official app of the vpn does wireguard protect against vpn blocks ? I have tried to find answers on reddit, ddg etc. but i think my question is too specific to get an answer or idk how to use search engine.
