If he were put away as he should be, the establishment wouldn't be able to dangle him over us like a pendulum in the pit anymore.

The narrative needs a villain to keep us on the edge of our seats.

I've said this elsewhere: if my job performance was based on comparing me to the least qualified person to do my job in the world, I'd probably take advantage of that. And we've decided that's how we should determine how well the President is doing?

As soon as the worst Republicans are defeated, the DNC knows damn well their base will expect them to let us kick the "change things for the better now that we finally have the breathing room" football.

Which is why they will never, ever let that happen.
