Old film you should watch: Pandora's Box (dir. G.W Pabst, 1929 - TRAILER

If you thought silent film was boring think again. There's something incredibly modern about Louise Brooks in this rollercoaster of sex and drama. The great Austrian director George W Pabst made this in Weimar Germany, recruiting Brooks from the US for her breakout role. #ofysw #youshouldwatch #watchingnow #pabst #pandorasbox #weimar #louisebrooks #silentfilm #movies

You're have to ask someone (besides yourself) who's seen the film. I haven't even read the book in english.

Since it's about a woman who witnesses a suicide, is raped, gets forced into a life of sexwork, and eventual husband offs himself, yeah "depressing" sounds about right. 🤔
