If I ever win the lottery, I'm never buying another foreign made product again. - Lemmy.World

In my financial situation that is about what it would take, too.

Hey, if some other country pays your income, then just ignore me. Try to find a job abroad with a company that isn’t affiliated with America.
What in the fuck is this supposed to mean?
I had a Toyota for years, and I thought it was great. It really wasn’t a bad car. It was the cheapest car on the market in 2008. I just bought a Ford that is 19 years old (3 years older than the Toyota I previously had). The Ford is more high tech and impressive than that Toyota. Thats all I’m saying.
What?
American made products are better. They just are. I’m sorry if people disagree with me, but I have bought items that were foreign made because I wanted to save money in the past. There’s a noticeable difference with a lot of items.
There’s a phrase “you get what you pay for”. You’re comparing buying stuff because it was cheap to buying stuff that is more expensive but you’re saying the reason it’s better is because it’s made in america. Perhaps it’s just a higher quality product and priced accordingly, and it has nothing to do with its country of origin.
