Auschwitz Memorial1 April 1939 | A Belgian Jewish boy, Rene Melzer, was born in Antwerp.
He arrived at Auschwitz in a transport from Malines / Mechelen on 18 January 1943.
He was murdered after selection in a gas chamber.
