The bookshelf I built from scratch this weekend is done. Won’t win any design awards, but it’s sturdy, tall w/ shorter shelf spacing to fit more shelves, and fitted for this part of the office so no space was wasted. The books are pleasantly shuffled, too. See anything good? 📚🥳

@austinkocher looks nice but I would have definitely stained the boards even if it took me two weekends. Still will last forever as long as it doesn't get wet :)

looks amazeballs. i really love the look of pine. i wouldn't even stain it. just use some wax or tungsten oil.

now, about those big books on the bottom. look at all that lovely space on the top! you could move the oversized books there and you and your shins can live happily ever after.
