Hi, I’m Ross and I guess this is an #introduction !

I used to feel pretty smart about #computers until I joined Mastodon. Now I just really enjoy hearing all you truly smart nerds (complimentary) go off on all things #programming and #tech!

I work in the #legal field #law and it feels like it is probably too late to switch careers again. I was once an #engineer and loved it, but I got quite #sick and once “recovered” (quotes because I’m still and probably never will be #healthy) I found it hard to break back in. A lot had passed me by and I was young and didn’t know what to do. I dream of it still, though. I also regret it all, still. I’m working on letting go.

I was good (enough) with computers and, particularly, with people to get a job with a legal services firm and I’ve been moving up since. I love my team, but this is not what I love doing! At least I’m good *at* it.

Looks like there will have to be a part two to this. I’d love to make #friends!
