@rands I subscribe to the Rule of Three for most of YouTube anymore. Start a video, tap the number 3 on the keyboard to jump to 30%, and by that point they’ve usually started to actually talk about the subject at hand.
(…and then YouTube inserts an ad five seconds later, but that’s a whole other thing)
