Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth

@wonderofscience The stars don't sparkle when you're above the atmosphere.
@wonderofscience If only we could have moving desktops on our pc’s. This would be so cool as the background. A nice reminder every day how beautiful space is.
@Kgault @wonderofscience not sure Windows or Mac, but on some Linux desktops (there are several, and you can choose which!) allow for this.
@wonderofscience Mesmerising... Great screensaver as well. Not actually saving the screen, but my sanity perhaps. 😀
@wonderofscience I’d be a useless astronaut - I’d just be glued to the window all the time 😄
@wonderofscience this will never stop amusing me: Here we are, on this giant rock, riding thought the solar system, and the only thing that separate us from the deadly and wastly empty space is this thin and fragile layer of Earth's atmosphere, reminding me a soap bubble... Let's not destroy it! #ClimateCrisis
