Re-started training #Aikido , not a week ago and, because #yudansha rank is not exactly common, senior instructor already hinting at preparing for an eventual next dan, which I suppose shows an interest and yada yada, but...

I found out with years of training, that I care about learning, and exploring technique and the insight afforded by tactical situations, but also that I am *aggressively* uninterested in testing, katas, ceremonies, and all that.
