If you have applications based on .NET 7 then don't forget that it is not an LTS release and as such support will finish on 14th May 2024. Upgrading to .NET 8 is probably a good idea.

@DavidRGardiner Unless app is neglected, why would you run it on .net 7 in first place.

@mihamarkic You might have created it last year and wanted features that weren't in .NET 6 but didn't want to wait until 8 to get started?

I'd suggest most of the time adopting a non LTS is ok if you're confident you'll move to the LTS version asap.
