Almost a year and a half since I posted this, and it’s still truer than ever.
It’s an especially lonely feeling when things have seemingly gone well. Feels like a dirty secret I’m hiding. Yeah sure that bug/exploit was cool or whatever, but what no one knows is it’s last one I’ll ever find!!
@chompie1337 I’ve been hacking for 25+ years with many ups and downs and different kinds of streak. I always had my imposter syndrome to keep me company.
Then, last year I finally got cured! All it took was meeting a young, famous world class researcher that I would put in the current top three, and learning that he was my biggest fan and that my work inspired him (and his mentor!) to become what he is.
The circle of life goes on. You’re already an inspiration for many, even if you don’t know it ✊
