@sflorg @mackayim2022 A village close to where I live has large poultry farms and gets hit by bird flu every year. That village borders on the last remaining sort-of-natural wetlands in this part of Poland. And there have already been calls to shoot more wild birds that migrate through here. I don't know what will happen when a first case of transmission to humans occurs, but most likely nature will get under heavy fire.
