let us also remember that "during his imprisonment, Browder was kept in solitary confinement for 800 days" and (after many attempts) disappeared himself from our sight as result of the unbearable traumas he endured. his mother later died of a broken heart; and although the city later settled with his estate, no prosecutors were ever held personally accountable.
