@jeffjarvis There are many fine people on both sides of the debate.

But honestly, as a resident of Minneapolis who saw his city burn, crime went up to awful levels, the police here just failed the city on every level. I had to move through COVID-USA to help an ailing parent. And the Trumpites in NC where I spent much of the spring/summer seemed to be pulling the country apart. 4 years ago was a sad and terrible time.
