Recap of Putin's narrative:

Ukraine is a country of Russians waiting to be liberated, who deserve to have their energy infrastructure bombed, so they can freeze to death before the liberation, because they are led by a Jewish president who is somehow also a nazi who has recently sent his Islamic jihadist terrorists to gun down Russians in Moscow while screaming “allahu akbar”.

Imagine the briefing on Russian tv1, where the hosts are told to keep a straight face while delivering this message.

@randahl Absurditis is a professional mental health hazard of people with an autocratic bent.
@randahl Those who watch Russian Media Monitor channel on youtube, understand that the hosts on russian tv have exactly zero problems keeping a straight face while delivering any rubbish they were told to deliver.

@randahl

In the Russia, truth has seized to exist long time ago…

@randahl And where the Russia democratic system is far better than in occident and at the same time pointed by the opposition as being totally rigged. 1984 at its best.
@randahl Ignorance is Strength.
@randahl Why would that be so difficult to do? Fox does the US equivalent every day.
@randahl This is the picture of the world of a paranoid maniac who has infected an entire country with his delusions. Psychiatrists, not political scientists, are needed to understand the “mysterious Russian soul.”
@randahl for me, it all comes down to a discovery of natural gas in crimea and south west of Ukraine and subsequent threat to gas producers of Russia. That's all, nothing more, nothing less - capital controls Russian Federation and it drives it in the same location capital leads all of us. Same for Ukraine though - those with power do not give a crap about ukranians freezing to death or dying on the frontlines
@randahl you forgot that it’s also not really a country.
@randahl sounds like all our main news channels.
@randahl so little of the counter-official-narrative will reach real Russians through any channels, we’re left with the question: what is truth to the “ordinary” Russian?
That is to say, _our_ knowledge and understanding is worthless in the face of tyranny which ordinary Russians may not even comprehend they are living under.
And this is thereby virtually worthless knowledge to hold and know externally (at this point in time).
