A cheap instrument, but after some minor upgrades it plays like a dream. 😍 This is what I've done so far:
Most significant improvement was to install #LockingTuners which required no drilling. Tuning is now super stable. Got these, they're cheap and get the job done:

The finishing touches will be a string retainer for the two lowest strings and some nice pickups. I chose the #BareKnuckle True Grit for the neck and Brute Force for the bridge. Not gonna install the myself though, I'll leave this to the pros.

#Drums are #EZDrummer and #GuitarAmp is #Nolly #NeuralDSP, the Blood Eagle preset.
Oh and tuning is in Drop G which feels like Drop D on a regular guitar. It's wild.
Used these strings, because the stock ones were way to thick and I wanted a set, so I don't have to customise my string selection every time:
