#Threads is part of Meta/Facebook, and their track record on moderation is as horrific as it is possible to be:

@revjameson @FediTips Why whould anyone assume that they'll suddenly do things properly here when their track record literally everywhere else is simply behaving worse and worse with every passing year, and their general corporate stance on moderation if "what if we simply don't?"

@pstewart @FediTips Sure they don’t have a a good track record with past projects. But if this project does things right then there is no reason to block them.

@tauon @FediTips Threads is a different platform from Facebook. I’m sure you know this. That’s why I say if they are doing things right with threads, then they shouldn’t be blocked.
