update: "Though the construction site prohibited direct access and rescue operations solely via an LAFD aerial ladder truck, firefighters were able to extend the truck's 100' aerial ladder to use a a distant high point, allowing LAFD responders to use ground ladders and a two-line rope system to successfully lower the worker to safety. The 45-year-old man, who reportedly experienced an abdominal injury - possibly from a nail gun discharge, is now being medically evaluated and prepared for hospital transport by LAFD Paramedics."
