This is Firefox's password manager. For some reason, instead of just being a preference about the display of unrevealed passwords, every password entry has two "reveal" buttons: one that completely blanks it (the first one), and one that reveals it (the second one). We can totally differentiate these because the first icon is so much bigger than the second one!

wander1236I only have one button in the viewing UI, and no button at all in the editing UI. Clicking into the field in editing mode reveals the password. Firefox 124 and 125.0b2.
Hmm, I use a fork that's currently on 115 ESR. Maybe they finally fixed it in between.
Honestly same, one would think after clicking the wrong one, one will learn… Maybe someone else but not me lol
