@cstross my wife wants them just for the capacity to cut through cable ties. Apparently the scissors at work don't.
JdeBPAs someone who has bought gimmick multi-tools like this in the past I can speak from experience:
These won't cut those cable ties, either.
There's a reason that the photograph in the ad is using a pre-cut apple. (-:
They'll also get stuck if used as advertised (by many eBay sellers) as tokens for supermarket trolleys, not fit the hex nut that you need to turn, and slice your fingers off in the rare case that the nut size matches.
