@pietercolpaert on https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/collection/semic-support-centre/linked-data-event-streams-ldes it says "LDES is a way out from the so-called "API maintenance hell", as described by Pieter Colpaert from UGent" - Where can I find that description? Even ChatGTP doesn't know ;)

@adgerrits Ha! It was a concept I used for motivating why we should stop setting up an increasing amount services on top of your dataset as a data provider. You can hear me explaining it in this talk (the URL points to the moment in the talk): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89UVTahjCvo&t=1158s

@pietercolpaert Thanks! Interesting approach to meet a number of challenges that (also) the Dutch government also faces. But it does require a few major steps compared to conventional thinking in maintaining data objects and requesting information about them. I still have to explain almost every day why real-time retrieval from many different distributed registrations does not provide a solution for everything...
@adgerrits Kadaster in NL has been closely following up the developments and there's an LDES in PoC somewhere for all addresses made by Triply
