Oggie@leatherboy_colt I'm sure you can't possibly miss hearing about it, but the whole doublespeak Hays Code stuff (which is still a strong legacy in film today, see: MPAA) where they were so busy decrying the clear incidents of homosexuality they -completely- missed the very obvious and very queer subtext in a lot of westerns.
