I need a way to track a movies wishlist.

Not a watchlist, but ones I want to buy soon and haven’t yet.

I’d use the Up Next queue in Apple TV if it didn’t just taunt me

@eawortman @matthewcassinelli +1 to this! Alerts you of sales too!
@nickfoster @matthewcassinelli Alerts to sales is how I originally found it. Was looking for something like Deku Deals, but for movies.
@eawortman @matthewcassinelli I use this as well. My only problem with it is that it alerts you to deals in the “My Deals” section of the app which according to the app is based on what I have in my Wishlist and Artist search… Yet the vast majority of what is in “My Deals” are titles that I have no interest in.
@matthewcassinelli Is the use case that you have a movie you want to buy but isn't available yet for purchase? Like you'd want to save Dune Part 2 now and get notified when it's buyable?

@matthewcassinelli I have a Wishlist I keep in Airtable and a scheduled Shortcut that checks if the price has changed for me each day.

Unfortunately since the deprecation of the iTunes app, I can no longer find an iTunes URL to return the JSON needed to build the list. I need to figure out how to fix that so I can add new entries to the list.

@matthewcassinelli I just put movies I want to watch in Sequel. Then when it’s time to watch them I just ask Siri to show me the movie. If I’ve already bought it I hit play, if not then I buy it.
@matthewcassinelli I use Plex and it will find the movie on streaming services.
@matthewcassinelli You could use a list in Letterboxd. Movies in lists can be filtered by availability for purchase.

@michael8684 @matthewcassinelli I would say #Trakt too but make that #Watcht because I like that app better in conjunction with #Infuse.

#Plex (lifetime pass) can do the same but you need to make a #webhook to accomplish.
