Sune AukenI do not understand people who can actually bend notes on an acoustic guitar. All I get is a a slightly moany sound way below my target notes.
JW prince of CPH@SuneAuken Depends on the guitar. I can't do it on a nylon string one but my western steel string bends just fine. I don't do it a lot though; acoustic bends seem a little load-bearing, trying-too-hard'ish to me (I like "Lily Was Here" but it could still do without the bend 😝 )...

Is your acoustic using light strings? Mine are 11s, and I might need to go lower.
@SuneAuken Yes, I tend to play with 10s - I've been considering to go up to 11s, though, to see if I like the tone better - won't affect my bending, for reasons stated 😁
