@riotmuffin bless you for trying but Kerr's father is half indian and her mum is "coded" white Australian (blonde white skin). She apparently has Filipino ancestry but you wouldn't be able to tell. So Kerr is a quarter Indian.
Ok here's why it's a problem: note that even my source (below) doesn't really fill in the "white" part of Kerr's parents' background. Her father's is British. So even though Kerr is likely majority "white" (really British) people only think or talk about the other parts of her ancestry, as though it is aberrant. I know you don't intend this but that's the lens. In reality she is a child of love that has conquered these boundaries.
So you should probably *start* by calling her mixed or just Australian, and if she identifies with one part of her ancestry then call her that. She identifies as Aboriginal so you should use that.
