Repeat after me: Return To Office is a bullshit policy, put in place by *weak leaders* who value an illusion of control over productivity and employee well-being.

I'm very lucky because I can choose where I work, and today I could and would choose a lower pay and less prestigious company over a big tech with RTO policy. I'm double lucky because Square is great and without stupid RTO.

@py I've been remote for 12 years. I'm not opposed to going to an office, but I doubt that any local company will ever pay me what I'm worth. Me going to an office has nothing to do with productivity and everything to do with wanting to be social with people. I would probably be less productive in an office.
