jesse jarnowonce again pretty annoyed at tinyletter for shutting down & having to spend my sunday sorting out mailing list shit again.
and while we're at it: annoyed at all the spammy developments that make it impossible to maintain a mailing list by just using bcc.
so, anybody have a free email list service they like using? only sending out a few small messages a year to not-crazy-huge list.
emailoctopus is like a multi-page process to draft a message "campaign."
mailbob won't let me turn off the avatar feature.
steady won't even let me add subscribers, which i appreciate conceptually but doesn't seem like a good way to run a mailing list.
