ACCU Volunteer Application Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at ACCU! We are currently accepting applications for online volunteers Online volunteers will be assigned one or more roles including: HELP DESK - Volunteers staff a help desk in Discord where they provide basic technical support and assistance to attendees and answer any questions regarding the conference and its schedule GATHER TOWN VOLUNTEER - Volunteers will provide assistance and technical support within Gather Town to online attendees either at a fixed location and/or as a roaming point of contact. SESSION MONITORS - Session monitors will help us to monitor the Zoom streams that are taking place from the venue and let us know if there are any problems. Please note that in order to be a session monitor: - You should have at least some knowledge of how to use Zoom and its different controls. - You should have a fast and reliable internet connection. Please note that in order to volunteer: You are required to use a laptop/desktop that has a webcam and microphone You will be required to attend an induction session about a week before the event You must agree to work a total of seventeen hours across the four days of the conference. Please submit this form back to us by 6th April. Any submissions received after this date are unlikely to be accepted.
